OK, so even during this blinkin’ tube strike I had the joy of riding the Jubilee line yesterday. Woo, big old hat tip to the drivers on this line, and the northern line for getting on with your jobs, great job, keep it up!
So, the thing is whilst I was glad to be able to make my way round London somewhat normally, I was joined at Wembley by several thousand football fans…congrats to England for their 6-0 drubbing of Andorra, and maintaining their 100% record in qualification for the South Africa 2010 World Cup.
The biggest thing I noticed was that the football fans came in all sorts of shapes and sizes, but appeared to be in uniform…not sure whether this is a requirement of going to a World Cup Qualifier, but they all looked good in their slight variations…
The urban uniform for football fans was based around some staple items, we’ve put an example together below:
The basic good old Polo shirt, top button done up is an optional look…
The jeans, a decent quality pair of jeans, will help any outfit work…
The basic, classic, white pumps…
So, that’s the basic look (incidentally, the above items can all be bought at Topman), classic, and timeless! This wouldn’t be the same if we didn’t bring our own touch to it though….check back tomorrow where you can personalise the outfit a bit more….
Niiice, prefer plain white trainers though for myslef…also really like velcro vs laces, I guess i’m just a lazy….
Woo, it’s the weekend!
